A special Mother's Day edition for Edits this week which following feedback will be ad hoc as you asked if weekly content could focus on interiors, renovation & travel. A Copenhagen guide is incoming!

I would like to start by saying that I am sending love to all of you who might find Mother’s Day difficult and will be thinking of you.

We live close to both Mums but I am one of five and so in recent years I sometimes spend time with my Mum on a different day and my husband Matt will arrange dinner out, which of course will be a Sunday Roast for me and my trio of little ladies. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I love no meal more than a roast dinner and I have been hunting for the best one in Cardiff over the last few weeks.

Over 60% of you told me you are last minute shoppers so pending delivery dates, I have rounded up some possible last minute gift ideas that could be for you or a Mum or loved one.

I have curated the Edit as a mix of gifts I would love and so would my Mum who turned 61 at the start of this year.

Gifts for Mum

If your Mum is anything like mine and has a sense of humour but also appreciates gifts with a purpose she will love the Aesop Post-Poo Drops. They are finally back in stock. I use them too and they smell great and do the job!

We are a family of chocolate lovers... and particularly Hotel Chocolat. This has to be my go to chocolate brand for any occasion. When I picked these up, I also got my little ladies the chocolate bunnies for Easter.

I would say memories from my teen years were of my Mum’s obsession with Estée Lauder! Anyone else’s Mum the same? I have used all of these myself and really rate the eye cream. This is a beautiful set of their iconic night time routine products.

My bespoke floral arrangement, ‘The Reena Maxi Bunch’ in collaboration with Ett Hem has had a touch of Spring added with Sky blue and White Poppies and I had to include here as it would make for a very beautiful forever gift.

I love all of the tapered candles with hand painted words and art. These are particularly beautiful and come with the scalloped ceramic candle holders.

I feel like this beauty bag is something I would love more than my Mum as I am not actually sure that Sézane is on her radar…so if my husband is looking… I’ll take it! I currently have a million notifications on waiting for the SÉZANE X PANGEA jeans and shirt to come back into stock!

I haven’t been on a day trip to London for a very long time with my Mum and I am desperate to take her to Dishoom! In the meantime, this book has been on my wishlist and she would like it too, she is the best cook!

I adore the Olive Tree in a bag and it’s such a good price!

My Mum would love anything as would I from The White Company. I was recently sent the Santa Rosa Candle and it smells divine.

I adore Cowshed and a present that ticks off things in constant use and need, but I know my Mum and probably many of us would not want to spend on when you can get Carex for £1!
